Georgia Dispatch That Moves Freight, Not Goalposts
Driven By Hustle Powered by Partnerships
Box Dawg Freight Services LLC is expanding its Georgia based dispatch network and is actively recruiting owner operators for intrastate and interstate routes. We specialize in cargo van, straight box, and semi-trucks operations, connecting independent drivers to consistent freight opportunities through a fully networking partnerships.
Our mission is to empower independent operators with opportunity, fair pay, and professional support.
How it Works
Submit a carrier enrollment application. When approved a Box Dawg agent will then send a Bona fide Agent agreement. Once the agreement is approved by both parties, your dispatcher starts scouting, booking, and coordinating with your approval.

Authority & Filings Guidance:
Box Dawg Freight Services LLC provides full dispatch and back-office support but does not perform FMCSA, MC, DOT, or BOC-3 filings. Carriers must have an active operating authority (MC + USDOT) for interstate or OTR freight. For intrastate (Georgia-only) carriers, a GA DOT number is required based on the vehicle’s Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) — typically 10,001 lbs and above.
We maintain documentation and provide referrals to trusted compliance agents but remain separate from authority setup to protect all parties’ compliance integrity.
Federal Compliance Note – Bona Fide Agent
Under 49 CFR §371.2(b) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), a “bona fide agent” is defined as:
“An agent who has authority to represent more than one motor carrier and who provides transportation-related services on behalf of those carriers without exercising or having the power to exercise discretion in allocating traffic between the carriers.”
Box Dawg Freight Services LLC operates strictly within this definition as a bona fide dispatch and back-office agent, representing multiple independent motor carriers while ensuring each carrier retains:
-
Full operational control over vehicles and drivers.
-
Responsibility for safety, insurance, and compliance.
-
Independent decision-making on freight acceptance and pricing.
FAQs
Q: Do you work with semi trucks too?
A: Yes. We dispatch Class 8 tractors, 26-ft box trucks, and cargo vans.

Q: Can you dispatch reefer and flatbed loads?
A: Yes—these are managed under our Pro or Elite plans.

Q: Do I need my own MC number to work with Box Dawg?
A: Yes — if you plan to haul interstate or OTR freight (crossing state lines), you must have your own active MC number and USDOT registration. Box Dawg Freight Services LLC does not assist in MC setup but verifies authority status before onboarding.
For intrastate (Georgia-only) operations, carriers only need a GA DOT number, based on the vehicle’s Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) — typically 10,001 lbs. or higher for commercial use.
Summary: Interstate = MC + USDOT required. Intrastate = GA DOT required. Box Dawg = Dispatch & Back-Office only.

Q: Does Box Dawg help with authority filings?
A: No. Back-office dispatch support focuses on operations, documentation, and compliance management — not authority applications. Filings such as MC, BOC-3, or UCR are handled directly by the carrier or a registered compliance service. We can refer reliable agents if requested.

Q: Do you handle factoring submissions?
A: Yes, we submit directly to your factoring company via AscendTMS Pro.

Q: Can I switch between equipment types?
A: Absolutely—just update your profile preferences.
